Pizzadilla (Pizza Quesadilla)

Some nights, we want to make something so simple that we barely have to lift a finger. On busier nights, pizzadillas are definitely our go to. They’re way better than frozen pizzas and you can make them however you want. Using a tortilla is a lighter option than using dough. It’s just as good as pizza, except with half the guilt!

Pizzadilla

This pizzadilla is the perfect easy dinner recipe! It’s delicious and requires so few ingredients, you’ll want to make it once a week.

Ingredients

  • 2
    large
    flour tortillas
  • 1/2
    cup
    shredded mozzerella cheese
  • 1
    package
    ready to eat pepperoni slices
  • 1/2
    cup
    marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375.

  2. Begin by heating one of your flour tortillas in a large frying pan on medium high heat. Heat both sides of your tortilla.

  3. Pour half of the marinara sauce onto the middle of the tortilla and spread with a spoon. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese.

  4. Cover with your second tortilla and flip.

  5. Heat both sides of the tortilla, 1 minute each side. 

  6. Transfer to a pizza pan. Pour marinara sauce on top of quesadilla and spread with spoon. Sprinkle remaining cheese and top with pepperoni.

  7. Bake for about 7 minutes, until cheese is fully melted.

  8. Cut with a pizza cutter, serve, and enjoy!
