3 Cool Ideas With Concrete For Your Garden

Many people view their beloved garden as an extra living room — only out in the fresh air of course! That’s why it’s important for hobby gardeners to adorn their green oasis with the right deco. As the following ideas show, it’s also more fun to make any decorations yourself. Today’s superb selection uses concrete in various creative ways to make the neighbors have serious yard envy…

1. Rubber Boot Plant Pots

You’ll Need:

  • 1 pair of old rubber boots
  • 2 plastic cups filled with sand
  • tape
  • concrete
  • sand paper
  • masking tape
  • spray paint

Here’s How:

1.1 Mix up the concrete and fill the rubber boots with it. This is a good way to get one last bit of use out of old or ripped rubber boots before throwing them away. Next, press a plastic cup filled with sand into the center of each boot.

1.2 Fix the tops of each boot with tape and leave the concrete to dry.

1.3 Remove the tape and take the plastic cups out of the boots.

1.4 Use a box cutter to remove the rubber boots, leaving just the sole.

1.5 Sand down the concrete boots.

1.6 Apply masking tape to the middle of the concrete boot, leaving a strip at the top free. Spray paint onto this area.
