garlic powder -

heavy cream
Instructions

Begin boiling water in medium sauce pan.

While water is boiling, begin cutting broccoli into large chunks.

Once water is at a rolling boil, place broccoli into the water. It will not cover all the broccoli, as you’re going to steam it. Put a lid on your sauce pan and steam until tender.

While the broccoli is steaming, begin melting butter.

Once butter is melted, mix in flour. Continue melting until it is a golden brown.

Mix in the heavy cream and bring to a slow bubble.

Begin mixing in cheese slowly. It is important that you do not add it all at once.

Add in garlic powder.

Serve sauce over broccoli and enjoy!
